Why I don’t wear my prosthetic..

When I became an amputee in 2017, I was optimistic about getting a prosthetic, but when I actually saw the prosthetics that exist, I was somewhat disappointed. I still got one because I was told it would help me do many of my activities but I ended up not getting used to it.

I get asked a lot about the electronic, motorized, robotic arms we may see in movies or the internet, but in reality this technology is still a work in progress.

So instead, I learned to make lemonade with my lemon, I decided to embrace what has happened to me and to turn it into something positive for me and for others who see me!

Thank you for the love as always!!
