My modeling debut with @oneractive!!
This week the fitness clothing brand Oner Active launched the Classic Seamless 2.0 Collection and I got to be one of the five extraordinary stories they shared. (Watch here). This brand is all about bringing women confidence and comfort to feel extraordinary and my role took place a few months ago when I flew to California for the shoot. This is certainly a dream come true. I always pictured models to be perfectly tall and thin and Oner Active found in me the power of inspiring others instead of judging me based on how I look. I think this only fortifies the strength of this brand because it is made for all of us to love and embrace our imperfections.
In the shoot I had the opportunity to meet Krissy Cela, fitness entrepreneur and influencer, she was so caring and very motivational, making sure we felt comfortable at all times. And of course the spectacular Oner Active team, constantly looking at all the details, highly organized and everyone was super creative and friendly. We truly had a blast and I feel so grateful that my first time was with this team!
On the day of the shoot, we got up early and got a ride to the gym where we were going to be recording. I got hair and make up done and got right into the weights for about four hours of shooting. You can imagine my legs were on fire, I must have done about one hundred box jumps (no joke). However, my excitement and gratitude was so huge I only felt the burn the day after(lol). Later on that day we also did a voice recording and I got to bring out the fire within me into the audio of the video.
The outfit was perfect, the mineral green color was a perfect match to my skin and the fit is compressive and supportive with flattering designs. I never used seamless because I was concern of how it would look on my butt, but Oner Active nailed the details to accentuate all your curves just perfectly. When exercising all the pieces flexed with my body and it stayed in place which is important to me so I am not constantly fixing myself between sets.
