About me

I lived a pretty normal life for a twenty three year old, I had a full time job but I also had big dreams as a content creator. However, on the night of April 8th, 2017 my life completely changed. I was on my way home from Boston and in a chain of events I hit a truck on interstate 95 North. All I remember are the break lights from the truck, people talking and an unconscious feeling of embarrassment when they undressed me.

I woke up the next day around 3PM to a new body. My left arm had been amputated and I had 18 stitches on my forehead. Nothing made much sense during the two weeks I was in the hospital but I was very grateful to be alive. Afterwards I found out that a family physician and his son were driving by and he was the one that saved me. I had lost a significant amount of blood and if it wasn’t for him I might not have been given another chance.

In addition, I received a facial reconstructive surgery where they added 7 metal plates to my skull to heal the broken bones and this resulted in ten stitches under each eye and inside my mouth. I also broke many teeth and had a lot of work done to recuperate my smile.

The physical injuries were hard but the hardest part was still to come. Dealing with grief, the need for love and acceptance, the desire to feel worthy, my struggles with faith and finding motivation and resilience to rebuild my life had not even crossed my mind. But I persevered, and that is the content you will find in my blog, newsletter, YouTube and social media.

I share my day-to-day life, my struggles and my wins to help others who are struggling. It’s a miracle that I am here, and my content is a way I can pay forward the gratitude I feel to wake up every single day. I hope I can inspire you today to be grateful, to look at the full half of the cup and understand that life is too short to waste it.
